oh gosh, how to survove like that? My 2 weeks break is definitely not a break for me. haishh, this is getting worse than a levels, man!
OKay, back to the brighter side of life(s0 cliche i know). My cousins had the much awaited hen party for Kak Effa. Don't worry, it's nothing kinky, like what you people might jave probaly read in Berita Minggu last week. We're relatively innocent people and definitely know our limits. I certainly had a lot of fun albeit my blocked and runny nose.
And I simply love the dress that I'm going to wear on Sunday for the wedding. It's so bridesmaid-y. I simply can't wait to wear it and the Punjabi suit which I bought.

It had been a really long day for me today - rise and shine at 530 to get ready for school. ah, the hassle of going to school when you are living at the other end of Singapore.Travelling does make you lethargic, which translates into not revising when you reach home, which in turn makes you really dumb and stupid among your friends who seem to know every single thing!
So I ended school at about 12 today. My sister fetched me and off we go to YKK, then Concourse to find stuffs for the hen party, together with 2 of the cousins, Nurul and Nora. We spent some time at Concourse trying to search for the things that we wanted.
Then we headed to Tekka to look for Punjabi suits to be worn for Kak Efah's solemnisation ceremony. Why Punjabi suits, you say? Well, it's just because that we want to, erm, keep in touch with our Indian roots, and simply because we do not own any Punjabi suits. Being girls, we did spend quite some time there and finding it difficult to choose a suit. The roving eyes of girls. The Malays call it rambang mata, you. All of us finally managed to get the suits that we liked and sent it for alterations to make it into long sleeve. Happy customers, we headed home, to Tampines and to Cik Yam's (Nora's) place for her Hari Raya open house. As you can see, my family, ie my maternal side likes to have an open house just for the family towards the end of Hari Raya.
Okay, now back to studying Anatomy. Pract exam's like in 2 weeks' time.

As usual, I spent the weekend visiting my relatives again. I just have too many relatives. But the visiting was not that badlah, as there were not that many houses to go to.
On Saturday,I went to Cik Mansor's house. Shocking news was told and of course talking about the coming wedding. Then today, I went to Cik Meme's house. More food and satay to be eaten. And yes, I was hugely entertained by my cousin, huda's antics. She is such a candi person.

I need them muscles to carry patients. It's my profession to do so. Which brings me to the point that I need to invest in dumbells.

it has been a very busy weekend for me. on thursday night, my relative from the paternal side came over. No pictures for this one as I was just too tired that day, with classes ending at 6, and also my rashes which decided to appear again.
On Friday, i went out with the physiotherapy students ie the seniors for jalan raya. I was the only year one student there, not that it mattered a lot. I have to say that I'm actually glad that I agreed to go for this outing as it gave me the chance to know the seniors since my batch has the least number of malays. Well, don't get me wrong. I'm not a racist, far from that. It's just that I know whom I can turn to if i ever encounter any problems. This outing was the latest I ever came back home...3am. Yes, THAT late but hey, we only officially started at about 4 after all of us came back from school and we went as far as jurong..the malaysia in singapore for me. Nonetheless it had been a long day for me from 530 in the morning but I still had much fun. Oh yess, I simply love the fondue at faezah's house. =)I sincerely thank dearest Aisyah for drving us and sending each and every one of us.

on sat, I went out with the darling girls from TKGS. It was fun to catch up with the girls but i think it was too short a time. I have to grab pictures from shareena. There was only a record of about 2 cameras this year! What happened to everyone else's cameras (me included)? I went to uncle's house after the jalan raya as my family had this kongsi-raya where my aunts and uncles did an open house for all their cousins. In other words, easy for them as only one house will be used which means less cleaning and cooking.
I am going out today, yet for another open house at my aunt's place. How to complete my work like that?

I know that entries have been sparse and few but I seriously do not have the time to update. School's really taking up most of my time nowadays, with so many things to read up and understand.
well, hari raya celebrations have been okay. pictures will be put up soon, hopefully, if i have the ime to upload them. for now, i'm quite peeved that rashes have been appearing on my face, without any signs of clearing up. to make matters worse, i don't really know where i went wrong. make-up wise, i don't wear make-up when i go to school. not even powder, except on hari raya, which is quite amazing as nothing happened to me on the first day of hari raya. instead, the rashes started appearing on saturday and it's really downright ugly. Thus I came to a conclusion that i might be allergic to some food, which i have no idea. All these years, i have been just fine, happily eating on hari raya visitings. And yes, I'm not in my bestest of moods when I have ugly rashes on my face, which totally spoils and mars my face. Not that I have such a porcelain complexion to begin with, but you get the drift, don't you?
Howells, i better go and mandi as my father's relatives will be here anytime soon. heh. and i just got back from school. ending sch at 6 is just totally insane, when you start at 9 in the morning.
