i've been reading the nespapers and watching the news since the killer waves struck and tears never fail to bring tears to my eyes. it's just so saddening and depressing. so many victims dead,homeless and losing their loved ones. we're lucky in a way that we are not affected by the horrfic natural disaster. i mean, can u imagine parkway parade and the whole marine parade area flooded and so many dead bodies floating around. but on hindsight, s'pre would not be badly affected if the killer waves were to hit s;pore since the buildings here are high rise and they are made of solid bricks. anyway, the tsunamis better not hit s'pore..belum bertaubat!!! which means i haven't repented from all my sins.
maybe the end of the world is coming after all. the tsunami is just one of the signs..that's according to my mum who went to her weekly religious class and was told by her ustazah.
oh i'm going to the national stadium this sun to support the Lions!!!! haha it'll be so fun cheering for your own country. haizz...reliving the glory of the Malaysia Cup era..where fans will go to the stadium and support their national soccer team. whhee..i can't wait. channel 5 is so stupid not to show the live telecast of the match..and what are they showing during that time slot? ocean's 11. like there's no other day to show it. maybe i'm seeing it from a soccer fan's perspective but come onlah, show your support for Singapore.
i was thinking that it's better to watch the game live at the stadium and get home latest by 11 and go to sleep for school the next day, rather than stay up all the way till 11.30 and sleep at abt 1 in the morning to watch the delayed telecast of the match on channel five. for your information, majority of the households in s;pore do not have cable at all..except for a few lucky ones who have the luxury to subscribe to it. if u have cable, good for u, u can watch the match live over cable but the atmosphere is different if u watch it live at the stadium...=D

A very good morning everyone!! I'm still very much awake although it's almost three in the morning. Gonna catch the man u-aston villa maych later. hehe..actually, the reson why i'm up so late is because i did my bio heredity and genetics tutorial. haha, weird but suddenly, i had the mood to do my stuufs which have long been negelected. I was actually surprised to actually have the drive and discipline in me to complete the tutorial...a definite sense of achievement seeing that i've touched none of my holiday assignments and notes during the holidays, except for tons of storybooks. :)
oh, i can't wait for the sleepover this weekend. what a way to round up the year with our very own private countdown party at kak effa's house. no need to go so far to sentosa...waste money only. we can entertain ourselves, thank u very much with our secret jokes and laughter and not to forget toonie's zapin dance!!! heh.

i really had a blast this week. hehe. better make full use of my holidays before school kicks in and it's muggung time the whole yr round.
okay, first up on mon, i had odac meeting about the river raft competition. so went to this industrial place to get some stuffs for the competition like wooden planks and some tyres. oh gosh, we really spent a lot of time there. not to forget the 78-year-old grandpa who suddenly appeared out of nowhere and talked to us about how we should study and study and study when we're stilll young cos it's so gonna benefit us wehn we're older..yada..yada..yada. he spent like 45 min talking to us. luckily sai seong interrupted him, saying that we had to go back to school. fuhh...
went home and finished up reading this malay story book..ombak rindu. haishh..such a sweet story..hmmm maybe your first malay book is always the nicest and the swwetest. =D. after isyak, my darling cousisn aka gemz and i went to our usual hang-out place at east coast lagoon and ate the usual roti john. super delicious, i tell u. a night filled with laughter, i truly enjoyed myself. what's a gemz outing without the laughter and jokes? boring...
on tues, it was NOra's birthday and we brought her to rebond her hair. now, she looks super nice..w/o her frizzy hair. i cut my hair too. hehe. i dunno what's with me and short hair now.i cut my hair just because i do not want to tie it to sch. it's so troublesome in the mornings. then went to komalas for dinner and gelare for dessert. issh...i really really spend a lot.
yesterday went to parkway and shopped some more...then to tkc to confirm the material for our dress to be worn on abg nazeem's wedding. yup, and tmr, i'm off to johor with the gemz and my aunties.
haishh, so many things happened during the holidays and i didn't know about it till recently. maybe i'm the one at fault since i wasn't always around in sch during the fasting month and the extended studies period. to my friend(u should know who u are), i hope everything will turn out fine, yah? just be strong and patient. i can only say this to you cos no matter how i try to understand how u're feeling, i can't cos i'm not in your shoes and i have never been in tat situation before. that's my weakness i guess. but whatever it is, cheer up.

i reached home at 12 this morning. haha can u believe that. the latest i have ever reached home. but not to woory i have the company of three crazy and kuku girls a.k.a syaf, azzah and ana. more on that later.
so i spent the whole of sat at azzah's house. we had a movie marathon. watched love actually...yup okay i can hear all the sbniggers already and yes, it's my first time watching the movie. i'm so backdated, aren't i? so around that time, everybody was dying of hunger already..hehe. guess the fries and popcorn was not enough. took an awfully long time deciding what to eat..finally, we settled on pizza hut.
oh yah, being the fickle-minded girls, we didn't know what movie to watch next. u wouldn't blieve this but we watched the singapore idol finals again!!! so much for a movie marathon. but all was not lost as nurul and ili have yet to watch the finals. =D
the pizza finally came and we finally settled on a movie to watch..shrek 2. azzah wanted to watch titianic while some of the rest wanted hannibal..so shrek 2 was the obvious choice as we didn't want to disappoint both sides....
shrek 2 was totally hilariously funny. i'm in love with puss in boots already. he's so cute. u could practically hear everyone going 'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww'. haha....then we prayed maghrib and being cheap thrillers, we wanted to watch a horror movie but not very horror movie which doesn't have any after effects on us. all we wanted to do was scream...yup i know, cheap thrill but who cares anyway? next movie was Halloween H20...
all of us was huddled up on the sofa with cushions in our arms..haaha...i was holding azzah's hands so tightly that i think i broke her bones or sth....azzah and i were screaming so loud that our throats were hoarse after the movie...
after that went to simpang bedok for dinner. had lots of fun there. azzah asked me to sleepover her house since her parents were not around but yah...my parents didn't allow...azzah was like 'mama, prata durian satu, prata sth satu'....that was so funny lah...fancy calling an indian guy mama...i mean if u say, 'ma beraper satu?' it's okay but 'mama' is completely unacceptable. trust azzah to do just that. nurul and cassie went off at simpang bedok rohana needed to pee so badly so we went back to azzah's house. it was already 10.30 by then. so we talked and talked some more. rohana finally was allowed to sleep at azzah's house so i had to go home all alone.
so the 3 crazy girls sent me to the bus-stop and azzah said sth like 'i would have just boarded the bus if someone didn't tell me not to'. it was just a passing comment the 3 girls impulsively decided to send me all the way home..right at my doorstep and into my house..yup they actually went in my house as someone needed the toilet urgently. how sweet to habe friends like that. like really, i was so thankful that they actually accompanied me home. and i gave them curry puffs in return...=D
ana just had to wear a pair of slippers meant for acupuncture just because it looked funky to her. so funny cos she couldn't walk properly as the slippes were piercing her feet...but then again, it's so typical of ana...
i just love it so much wehn all my friends get together and we can just laugh and talk abt anything under the sun. i'm just so ever grateful that i'm blessed with sweet, witty and interesting friends. =D

went to syaf's aunt's house at tanah merah there. i had lots of fun...haha finally something fun to do in weeks =D.
we just couldn't decide what to eat for lunch. when we finally decided on what to eat, the stall wasn't opened. oh well. before that we decided to cook pasta but nab was against the idea but finally, majority wins. so off we go to shop n save and bought pasta, campbell soup, hotdogs, prego and ice cream - cheesie blueberri...
so two not-so-kitchen person and 1 kitchen person set off to work on the pasta. it was hilarious i tell you cos i was hopeless..yup as u can guess, i'm one of the not-so-kitchen person..haha....
during the course of preparing the pasta, the 2 not-so-kitchen pple digressed a lot and kept talking abt chute soccer players..local players lah..not some epl or spanish league player. we support local football, okay. haha.
so yah, we went up to the computer to see so many pictures of a particular chute...my chute to be precise..haha..i can so gush and swoon over him. then we watched eiffel..i'm in love..that's my fourth time watching it. haishh..the guy is just so charming..i'm not bored of the movie yet and i so love all the songs in the movie...sighz allow me to be in FantasyLAnd now aights? overall i had so much fun today..yup and it's been ages since i went out with nabila..finally time to catch up with her.
learnt a lot of new things..upsetting ones i might say but i wouldn't judge a book by its cover. enough said. movie marathon tmr at azzah's house. hmmm hope it'll be fun....

okie just now brought my bro to the doctor cos he had some inflammation in his eye. then i went out to tanjong katong complex to check put tje matrial for the wedding dress. bumped into kak effa and went to arnold's for lunch. went back to kak effa's house to pray zuhur, asar, maghrib and watch vcd. i tell u, the movie, 7 perhentian is so crappy and anti-climax. the script is super nonsense and meaningless. so don't waste your money and watch in in the cinema. not worth your money.
guess my bro met shah..or is it abang shah for the first time. haha...the played PS2 most of the time.
while waiting for kak effa to get ready, my cousins and i made fun of the malay language. it's just so fun and humorous. translating bitch, asshole, piece of shit, sucker, most of the bad words to malay.

thankfully, i'm finlly going out tomorrow. i'm so bored that i actually studied organic chem since the time i woke up. i'm such a slow learner that i get very confused and still don't understand most of it. the more i read the notes, the more i forget the stuffs and the more confused i get. what a pain in the ass.
i realized that i have been slacking and reading more and more and more books during the holidays. that's to make up for the year's loss of not reading. by the time 2005 kicks in, i dun think i'll be reading much anyway except for the interesting and fascinating notes i adore to collect.
i finally got to watch the s'pore idol finals on saturday cos i was in m'sia then. i realised that Sylvester's version of i dream is nicer than taufik's. howells, that's my opinion.

i've had great food over the last few days due to open houses by by beloved aunts and of corse my mummy. sighz..no wonder i'm growing sideways. i miss my aunt's honey chicken already. i ate at least 10 chicken wings yesterday.
i'm super, super bored since i came back from the malacca trip. i kept going out with my darling cousins, watching movie, shopping and just slacking around. my sis is going to egypt tmr morning. now, i'm seriously broke cos i kept buying a lot of stuffs-body shop stuffs, perfumes, facial wash, footwear, ckohes and of course i paid for the Malacca trip with my own hari raya money.
more money has to forked out for the dress that i'm going to tailor together with my cousins for my cousin's wedding next MArch. but i'm getting all excited in designing the dress and deciding what material to use. satin? too slinky but cheap. chiffon? a rather flowy material..just nice for a dress but expensive.we'll not be using much of lace, so we can buy the more expensive and nice one, i guess. budget: $150. looks like i have to use my bursary money.
in the meantime, i will look around for nice cloths or maybe go straight to the tailor to take a look at the cloths there. maybe, she can order the cloth that we want for us. well, we are giving her business anyway...8 people in total. so yup i guess it'll be silvery-gray and the lace will be black since the guy cousins are wearing gray baju kurung.
meanwhile, i'm really super bored at home and oh der gemz, when are we having the sleepover? i'm dying of boredom.

hehe..i'm back. siti nurhaliza's new song, 'seindah biasa' is stuck on my head now. i keep playing it repeatedly until i can memorise the song already. hehe. oh yah, for those of u who haven't watched the indonesian movie, Eiffel...I'm In Love...go watch it. it's super nice, better than Ada Apa Dengan Cinta. the soundtracks are not bad too.

let me take u to the interior of the bungalow. first, we have the dining table but it is used to hang all our swimming costumes that are wet as there is a fan above.
next up is the kitchen.
here is the dining room where i spend most of my time watching the television.
this definitely has to be my favourite place...
u see, my bungalow is very inaccesible so have to rely on a shutter bus to bring us to our destination but the shutter bus is very inefficient..so we decided to muse ourselves while waiting for it to arrive.
how fast time flies. it's been a week since i went to Malacca. i know that i haven't said a single thing abt the trip cos it was just undescribable...beyond words. i tremendously enjoyed myself. haha....i really really had so much fun. i want to go there again and swim, swim and swim. it's like the only time that i can swim cos the pool is just so secluded. yup, the things that u can't do when u wear the tudung but i'm not complaining though. it's a choice that i have made and it's a commitment that has to be honoured. :)
hmmm yah maybe i'll post the pics later or sth. i gtg cos i need to help my sis wash the toilet. my reatives from my mum's side are coming over...an open house for my extended family only. haha...it might seem late but better late than never. adios.
